HOW TO MAKE BAR SOAP

MATERIALS:

1. 1kg caustic soda 
2. 1/2kg soda ash light
3. 8 bottle of oil p.k.o (lucozade)
4. Silicate (1 cup of 62 ml)
5. Sulphonic acid( 1 cup of 62ml)
6. color eg green( blue and yellow will give you light green)
7. 2 bottles of water
8. Perfume 

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

• Mix 1kg of caustic soda and 1/2 ash in a bucket in a separate container with 2 bottles of water, 1/2 bottles to caustic soda while leaving  1/2 bottle in soda ash for 24 hours which is the following day.
• Acidic level of the soda 1.275 kg/m3 while the soda ash is 1250 kg/m3. Check the  acidic level with hydrometer.
• Measure 6 bottles of palm kernel oil (p.k.o) in a plastic bucket and add colouring ,sulphoric acid ,silicate and perfume.
• Then use a locker or use a soap mould.
• Then leave it to dry for  atleast 2 days.
